Pre-construction Services

RBSs Pre-con services allow our clients to begin construction with a clear picture of the process and cost.

Working closely with the owner, architects, and engineers we are able to produce acceptable budgets, establish a schedule for completion of all phases of work, and apply value engineering to the design to deliver time and cost savings. Additionally, we are able to uncover and address complex issues early in the process to save both time and money during construction.

Construction Management

RBS provides CM services to allow our clients to retain control of a project while our experienced project management team handles the day to day construction decisions. Our team gets involved early in the process, preferably during the planning stages to find cost effective solutions for project challenges that comply with the design intent and overall project objectives including quality, time, and cost.

As the client representative through construction, our team's specialized level of knowledge, experience and expertise especially for complex construction projects greatly reduces the level of risk for the owner on every project.

General Construction

RBS offers complete General Construction services utilizing a variety of delivery methods. We have vast experience with Design Build, Design Bid Build, and Design Assist projects. We have partnered with many designers for Design Build projects with great success as well as worked along side clients design teams to deliver the best product possible. We provide services to Federal, Private, Public, and Industrial clients.

Vegetation Management

RBS services the energy industry with right of way services such large acreage mowing, trimming, vegetation/land clearing, rough terrain access, and herbicide applications.

Red Bison Services has many years of experience in the right-of-way service industry and has the right equipment to handle any right-of-way project or emergency call out.

ROCKY ORTEGO, PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

As the Founder and President of Red Bison Services, LLC, Rocky is responsible for overseeing overall business and construction operations, company financial health, growth strategies, business development ,and marketing.

Prior to starting RBS, Rocky was the Vice President of Construction for a construction firm that specialized in Federal Construction for both CONUS and OCONUS operations as well as servicing many other private, public, and industrial markets.

Rocky was also the Building Construction Manager for a large energy services contractor in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries and was in Project Management for a large national commercial construction firm.

Rocky earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Louisiana State University where he graduated with honors as a member of Signa Lambda Chi, a collegiate construction management honors society

MATTHEW TANORY, VICE PRESIDENT

Matthew brings an extensive amount of operational and construction experience to our team. He is responsible for overseeing our services of pre-construction, construction management, and General Construction. Matt also builds customer relationships, maximizing company operating performance, and achieving financial goals.

Matt began his career as a Project Engineer on a Hospital expansion in Thibodaux, LA. Following its completion, Matt continued on to complete a FEMA restoration project after Hurricane Katrina as the Lead Project Manager for the Yeni Building, which was fully operational. He later worked as the Senior Project Manager for the $100M new 19th Judicial District Courthouse in Baton Rouge, LA. He has continued to oversee multiple projects with commercial firms as the Operations Manager, as well as on the development side for multi-million dollar heavy Commercial, Hospitality, and Industrial projects.

Matt has most recently worked as the Vertical Operations Manager overseeing multiple projects in the Federal Construction Industry working in facilities such as the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, FL for NASA, Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans, LA for NASA, and the Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.
